Happy Fall 2015!

I don't know about you, but this time of year is my fav!  I love everything about the fall season and cannot wait to snuggle indoors and nest a little.  This planning fool has already starting using this time to consider my goals for 2016.  Not to sound too ahead of the game, but looking at the current year automatically puts my future dreams & desires at the forefront of my mind.

For many of us living on autopilot is where we tend to be.

Seasons come and go without acknowledgement, refection or consideration of higher purpose.

I am not going to lie that I find this troubling.

Last time I checked this was not a dress rehearsal We only have right here and right now.

This original recipe is easy, delicious and makes the house smell like fall 15 minutes after you turn on the Crock Pot.  So easy I say let there be apple skins!

Ingredients:

3 - 5 pounds of organic cooking apples

organic pumpkin spice mix

1/3 cup organic local honey

Filtered water

Directions:

Using an apple peeler cut and core apples leaving skin on,

Add to Crock Pot with honey & enough water to have 1/4 inch in pot,

Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of spices,

Turn on Crock Pot to 1 hour on high,

After 1 hour turn to low for 10 hours more.

When done take immersion blender to pot and mix until desired consistency.

Place in mason jars and refrigerate this deliciousness
